bus stop test after effects
This is a pretty low quality test of some ideas I'm having on narrative in my work. I have been considering what it means to be a storyteller, artist, observer etc and I really think I came to a better understanding of my work while watching Playtime by Jacques Tati. In playtime the narrative if it could be called that, really just unfolds realistically in bits and pieces interlinked yet without cliched un-natural stories. It's life as the city sees it. I didn't realize it until I seen how like Tati the animated version of himself is in the illusionist.

bus stop drawing
I'm planning a short film its going to be 15-30 seconds long I've been struggling to come up with a plot for a while and I think I've been over complicating the process I'm determined to start simple.
here i think is the starting point: the humble bus stop in all its glory. the question now is what happens at this bus stop? who is waiting there? an old man with a dog, a beggar asking for change? A pigeon harassing the dog? a plump policeman walking by tucking into a burger?
